The Amazon Associates Program is excited to announce an update to OneLink. With this update, OneLink will now help you monetize your international traffic from Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Japan and neighboring countries in addition to the United Kingdom (UK) and Canada. You can now drive higher monetization from your website with a single solution and offer your international visitors an improved shopping experience by automatically redirecting them to their local Amazon storefront to complete their purchases.

OneLink is a script-based solution for Amazon’s text links that will land visitors from the UK, Canada, Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Japan and neighboring countries, to their local or nearest Amazon storefront (Amazon.co.uk Amazon.ca, Amazon.it, Amazon.fr, Amazon.es, Amazon.de, and Amazon.co.jp, respectively).

OneLink uses a script called oneTag which can be configured on your website with a one-time set-up. You can view detailed Integration Guide here.

The oneTag script analyzes Amazon links on your site and then interacts with our systems to land international traffic to corresponding local or nearest Amazon storefront when a product match is found. Your international visitors will be redirected to Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.ca, Amazon.it, Amazon.fr, Amazon.es, Amazon.de and Amazon.jp, respectively. It works for all existing as well as new links and does not interfere with other scripts on your site.

Depending on the nature of your site and page content, you can choose to either show the same products in the UK/Canada/Italy/France/Spain/Germany/Japan storefront, find a product that is a close match in these geographies, or take them back to Amazon.com when the exact product is not available.

If you want to see corresponding products on Amazon.com for these six countries, you can do that using a tool called ‘Check Matching Products.’ Just enter the URL you wish to map, and you will see the corresponding URLs in the UK, CA, Italy, France, Spain, Germany and Japan Amazon store.

You can view your international earnings report on one single global reporting dashboard. You no longer have to go into your respective Associates accounts to view each individual earnings report. The commission rates will be as per standard rate card prevalent in each country.
