The easiest way to link to any page on Amazon is to use the SiteStripe tool. SiteStripe is a toolbar that appears at the top of every page you visit on Amazon once you are logged in to Amazon using the same Amazon account that you use as an associate.

SiteStripe lets you build your Associates links right from the Amazon page itself. You have the option to select code for text links, links with product images, or links with image and text and simply paste into your content. With SiteStripe, you can create your affiliate links and share them on any social channel without having to visit Associates Central.

On any Amazon shop page, you can use SiteStripe to create an automatically tagged link for a text link. Just click the ‘Text’ icon, and your Tracking ID is automatically integrated into the link. If you have multiple tracking IDs, you can make a selection using a drop-down menu. You can also use the text-link overview to determine whether you want to use the complete-partner link, or to use a short link.

The options for creating a text link vary depending on whether you’re on an overview page, or a product page from Amazon. For a text link to a product, you must already be on the corresponding product page. The created link can then be placed directly in the text editor of your website.

From any product page, you can create an image link by clicking on ‘Image’ and choosing the size you want. The last-used Tracking ID is automatically integrated, or you can choose another Tracking ID from the drop-down menu.

You can also easily copy HTML code to create a visual product link box that displays the product name, the corresponding product image, and the current price—by simply clicking on ‘Text+Image’. The box will also include the Amazon logo and a ‘Buy’ button to encourage clicks. The last-used Tracking ID is inserted automatically into the link. Again, click on the drop-down menu to select another Tracking ID.

You can post product recommendations directly into your Twitter or Facebook feed from the SiteStripe toolbar. Just click on the channel icon, add any personal comment and post in your feed.

The Mobile GetLink tool makes it easy to generate content with associate links from your mobile device, without the need to go through Associates Central.

You can find Mobile GetLink in the Amazon mobile shopping app. Go to any product page, click the ‘Share’ button, and then find and click the ‘Copy Associates Link.’ You’ll get a short URL link copied to your clipboard that you can paste into any of your content and share through social media.
