Why is my account closed?
Accounts can be closed due to a number of reasons. For accounts opened before July 2015, the most common reason for closure is failure to complete the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) declaration before the deadline of October 26, 2015.
What is COPPA? (http://www.coppa.org/coppa.htm) In
2015, we had to verify that all of our Associates were in compliance
with this federal law. If the declaration wasn’t completed by October
26, 2015, then the account was closed.
While we cannot re-open
a closed account, you'll need to re-apply for a new account in order to
participate in the Associates Program.

Updating Sign-in Email Address
For security reasons, we ask all customers to change their e-mail
addresses directly on our website, to ensure that the person requesting
the change knows the password for the existing customer account. We
appreciate your patience with our security measures.
To change
your primary e-mail address on your Associates account, you'll need to
change the e-mail address on your Amazon.com retail account. Since the
two accounts are mapped together, changing the retail e-mail address
will automatically change the e-mail address associated with your
Associates account as well.
Please update your e-mail address online by visiting Your Account (http://www.amazon.com/your-account), and clicking "Change Account Settings" in the Settings section.
Once you see the confirmation screen, you can begin using the new e-mail address to access Associates Central.
Updating Payee Address
If you have moved or have an incorrect address set as your Payee
Address, please update this information to ensure you are paid correctly.

Please note: Any address changes made after the 1st of any month take effect on the following payment cycle. Example: If you update your address on May 4th, the change would take effect on the June payment cycle.

Notice: All payments are issued in U.S. Dollars. The minimum payment
threshold is $100.00 for check, but only $10.00 for gift card. For U.S. based

You will be asked to complete the interview or click on Change your Tax Information to review or update specific tax information.
